A Time of Re-Birth

The vision before me is a wide open space with tall grass blowing in the wind. I am facing west and notice the sun is sinking below the horizon. Riding toward me on a horse, is a beautiful man dressed in traditional regalia He descends from is horse and greets all of us with open palms. He is Red Eagle.

Red Eagle welcomes us:

Welcome children of the earth, it is with love and respect I come forth to you this day. You are in the time of the setting sun upon your Mother Earth, a time when it is important to trust in the process of change that is unfolding upon the earth.

Your Mother Earth is going through the Shamans death, and all who walk upon the Gaia must embrace the opportunity to die to the old and remember you are co-creators for your new birth, and the new earth that is emerging.

The process of birth is both, messy painful and a miracle and you are experiencing all of this in this now time. I suggest to you that you are midwives for this new creation, and the divine masculine and divine feminine co-creating together in harmony is essential for this to occur.The west is the place where the sun sets each day and you can learn from the teachings of the west and embrace the opportunity to die to the old. Each day I remind you to take some time to release that which no longer serves you. Allow yourself the gift of facing the setting sun unencumbered by the heavy energy of worry, doubt, and fear. Greeting the night released from fear and allows your body mind and spirit to be rejuvenated while you are in dream time. Then arise in the morning as the sun rises in the east, ready to be reborn into your world unfettered by the stories and fear of the past.

The daily occurrence of the setting sun is so common in your life, you take it for granted, but I ask you to notice the ebb and flow of the Mother earth for in these transitions in your day there are teachings and can support for how to live your daily lives. Take time to honor the sun as it sets in the west and acknowledge what you can release from your daily walk upon the earth that which does not serve you. As you awake in the morning allow the day to begin with re birth and honoring the day that is about to unfold. These book marks of life are powerful junctures for you to pay attention too and support you to stay in present time.

Your Earth Mother has much to share with you, and I encourage you to take time to be in the flow of the rhythm of the earth and she will teach you about life, and how to walk with greater ease and movement in your journey forward. She is the giver of life for you on earth, I remind you to honor the food she provides, with the power of prayer and gratitude. To breathe deeply of the air she gifts you and allow this air to connect to the spirit that is you. Remembering the first breathe you took as a new baby upon the earth connected you to your eternal spirit.

Honor the water that flows upon the earth and in your bodies this fluidity is the life blood of the Mother Earth and what flows in your body.

Respect the fire that provides you with heat, light, and gives you comfort. light

Reciprocity with Mother Earth:

I encourage you to have reciprocity with Mother Earth, to form a relationship with her of deep love. You precious ones are more powerful than you think or believe. When you gaze at a tree with love, the tree responds in kind to feel this love and return the love to you. This is reciprocity give and take, I extol you to remember to respect and love your first Mother, Cosmic Mother Earth by the small things and big things. This will form a relationship of love and respect. As you go for a walk upon the earth send your love and prayers to the beauty that is there of you to behold, the trees, grass, clouds, blue sky all that is there for you to behold. Your body is made from the same components as the earth and so as you honor respect and love the earth you are also giving love to your physical body.

Ceremony is powerful:

In my time of walking upon the earth we understood the power of ceremony and ritual to communicate with the Mother Earth and her cycles. We noticed Grandmother Moon and her ebb and flow in the night sky, and we watched the stars at night for signs and messages from our ancestors. I encourage you to allow for some opportunity for you to create ceremony to honor the changes in seasons, and ebb and flow of the earth cycles.

Equinox and Solstice are powerful times upon the earth and when you align your ceremonies with these changes you are honoring the earth and the ancestors who will stand with you while you do your prayers and ceremonies of love. A ceremony can be as big or small as you are comfortable with the important piece is your intention and love that is infused into the time you have set aside to honor your connection to the grand divine.

It may be collecting some pebbles’ from a beach and placing them in a circle and placing a flower in the middle and offering your prayers to the creator. Or it could be ceremonial fires where you give a gift of a pine cone to the fire infused with your prayers. All prayers are heard and honored.

Great Spirit I come to you facing the west

I release from my body any pain or disease

I release from my mind doubt, worry and fear

I release my spirit to dream time to be rejuvenated and refreshed

Prayers to the East

Great Spirit I come to you facing the east

I thank you for this new day

Today I celebrate my body in health joy and love

Today I honor my mind
