The Winds of Change

Before me I see a field of tall grass blowing in the wind, the grass sways and moves like waves upon the ocean. From this ocean of grass I see a vision of a tall native elder dressed in full buckskin the colour of russet red. He stands tall and strong and holds a single eagle feather over his heart, he introduces himself.

I am Red Eagle.

Red Eagle speaks:

Welcome children of the earth it is good to speak with you this day, I have come forward to confirm for you that you are on the right road to empowerment, and to encourage your journey on the good red road. I hold the energy for the Divine Masculine, Earth energy, I wish to speak of the times ahead and your part in the shifting consciousness that is unfolding on the planet you call Earth.

In ancient times the people walked upon the earth and understood the importance of their first Mother they honored her in ceremony and ritual. There was a knowing that Mother Earth was the eternal mother that would always provide, as they lived upon her belly.

The wisdom was carried in their bones, and for thousands of years they attuned to their Mother through rituals, and ceremonies, they passed their wisdom on to the children through stories, song, and the DNA in their blood. The wisdom is whispered in the wind and held in the rocks and trees and the configuration of the land. Now is the time of remembering, you are called upon to remember other lifetimes you walked the earth, times you walked in reciprocity with your Mother Earth, preformed ceremonies, and rituals which attuned you to the rhythm of the circle of life.

These shifting times you find yourselves in, are exciting and challenging, and all a part of the grand design. I come to you today from the East, the land of the rising sun home to the Eagle, Hawk and Condor; the east is the direction of vision and clarity. From this vantage point I see the winds of change that are ahead of you and understand that you feel overwhelmed.

Allow the winds of Change to flow:

My opening vision for you of the grass swaying in the wind was very intentional, for you are being buffeted by the winds of change. The vision is to encourage you to bend with the changes like the grass that sways in the windy prairie. It will serve you be flexible, notice the changes that are coming forward and be curious as to what will happen next. The changes are inevitable so allowing the change to come into your life instead of resisting will create more flow and ease for your journey. This does not mean you will always enjoy or understand the changes but it will allow you to go with the flow instead of against it.

Sourcing to the Mother Earth will support you:

In your western society you are cut off at the neck from the Earth energy. You expend your life force, using your mind, to communicate on the telephone, email, texting, and generally thinking.

You are so disconnected from your body that you are annoyed when your body speaks to you through discomfort such as a head ache or other body functions, and for this you feel the need to mask the pain so that you can go back to your thinking. Much of your media creates messages to distract you from your wisdom which sits in the heart of your being. The heart has not forgotten that the Mother Earth provides you with the sustenance for life. This eternal Mother provides your nourishment of the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the homes you live in; survival is not possible without the benevolence of this grand Mother.

With this in mind it is essential for your well being to support your heart by connecting to the Mother Earth energy. This can be done in many ways but in the simplest of ways it is to move your body outside in nature. This may be walking, riding your bike, skiing, or just sitting upon the belly of the Mother for she will support and cleanse you as you spend time upon her being.

I encourage you to be curious about your relationship with this vast spirit of your first Mother. I am sure if we were to sit and have a conversation you could tell me of your love, fear, sadness, and laughter with your biological Mother. You would be able to tell me her name, what food she liked to eat, her voice and so much more.

I would ask you to create an intimate relationship with your Mother Earth; she has so much to teach you about ebb and flow and how this can support your journey. The seasons are intended to support your journey so it is important to pay attention to the season you are in.

1.      Winter is a time for quiet reflection, an opportunity to go into a quiet space the womb of the Mother and reflect and ponder your life and consider where you are going next.

2.      Spring brings the promise of hope and new growth, it is a time to plant the seeds of your intention and breathe life into new beginnings that are all around you, filling yourself with life force that is so abundant at this time.

3.     Summer is a wonderful teaching of the Mother Earth that the seeds we plant will come to fruition and we can trust in the universal energies to support our efforts. Reveling in the warmth of Father Sun and taking time to play upon your beautiful Mother.

4.      Autumn a powerful time which reminds us to die to the old so that we can be reborn again, die to old habits, worries, doubts and fears.

Grandmother Moon has much to teach you.

Grandmother Moon also has much to offer, I encourage you to pay attention to the cycles of the moon as she makes her way around the earth. The Grandmother has an influence on your earth with the tides that ebb and flow the energy of the planet. You are connected to this energy and affected by it either consciously or unconsciously.

Full Moon is a time when it would serve you to do a ceremony of releasing the old patterns and habits so that you can go forward on your journey with clean and clear energy. The ceremony can be done with fire, candles and of course you intention to release and let go of the old so that you can embrace the new. A ceremony you may want to embrace is to breathe into a stick, all of your fears and worries and then burn the stick in the fire. The fire is a symbol of the sun, the light, so releasing your old stories and worries into the light will create levity for your being.

Creating a candle ceremony begins by lighting a candle, taking some time to connect to the highest light, love and truth. When you are ready, set your intention and focus and blow the candle out, with this exhale of breath you are releasing all of your old fears and doubts.

Picture the grasses that bend and sway in the wind they are not brittle and inflexible. It is crucial at this time that you allow for flexibility and movement in your life; this is not the time for old positions or absolutes. The ceremony of release around the Full Moon will align you with thousands of other people who do ceremony at this time.

New moon is a wonderful opportunity to embrace new beginnings, call in your dreams, hopes and joy for the upcoming month, and see it as a time of rejuvenation. This ceremony can be done with water, paying attention to the flow of water and embracing the gift of fluidity that water offers. One suggestion is to take a goblet of water and blow your prayers into the goblet infuse the water with your hopes, and dreams then go to the Mother Earth and pour the water on the ground offering your sweet Mother the gift of your love and desires. Notice how the water flows with no restrictions gifting the earth with this precious liquid. This will serve you, as you offer your desires and prayers to the universe and let go of outcome. The ceremony creates an opening for you hear to receive the gifts from spirit.

I present these practical suggestions to encourage you to align with the energies that are in place and have been in the circle of life for hundreds of thousands of year. These ceremonies will help you to remember other life times, for this is the time of remembering. The wisdom is already in your DNA strands and so it is important to activate these memories of the healed state, through ritual and ceremony this will support a stronger connection to the wisdom of your eternal Mother.

To walk upon the earth is a great privilege and honor and I extol you to continue your walk on the good red road in harmony with the seasons, and ebb and flow of the Mother Earth.
